After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Business Administration and Critical Leadership Theory, Justin moved into the private sector where he spent time as an account manager, operations manager and talent acquisition specialist. It was during this time that Justin met his wife Sara, then an elementary school principal, and experienced firsthand the landscape of educational inequities. Realizing the need to eliminate roadblocks for students and educators across the country, he decided to bring his entrepreneurial expertise and business acumen to the world of education. Justin attributes his success in large part to the professors and mentors who supported him throughout his post-secondary educational journey. He is grateful to be paying this forward to other educators working to create excellence for their students through his work at Open Instructional Narratives.
